Why Digital Access Still Matters
In today’s world, digital access is essential. From booking GP appointments to staying in touch with family, managing benefits, school communication, or everyday tasks, being online is no longer optional.
Yet many people in our community still face barriers to access — whether that’s confidence, skills, devices, or reliable connectivity.
At Bridge the Gap, our work exists to ensure people are not excluded from everyday life simply because technology feels overwhelming or out of reach. Digital support is not about being “good with computers”. It’s about having fair access to systems that shape daily life.
Our digital drop-ins and workshops create safe, welcoming spaces where people can learn at their own pace, ask questions freely, and build confidence without judgement.
Access matters. Confidence matters. And everyone deserves support.
