  • Melissa Francis - CEO & Founder

    I'm Melissa Francis, CEO and founder of Bridge the Gap - Ending Digital Poverty CIC. I recognised the impact of lockdown on those left digitally isolated, prompting me to establish this organisation. Initially driven by personal encounters, I expanded to make it community-based, firmly believing in inclusivity. My commitment aims to bridge the digital divide and create a fair, connected society.

  • Mesha - Data Sim Manager / Director

    I serve as one of the directors and I am also the Data sim manager here for one of the projects we run. I've been with BTG since 2020. I enjoy the work I do and hope to continue to make a positive impact in my community.

  • Anthony – IT Manager / Director

    Anthony leads all technical operations at BTG, managing device repairs, refurbishment, and IT processes. He oversees the IT volunteer team and ensures every device meets quality and safety standards before reaching the community.

  • Zafar - IT Technician Specialist

    Hi, I'm Zafar, the IT Technician at Bridge the Gap - Ending Digital Poverty CIC. I joined in 2020 to give back to the community. It's not always about taking; I wanted to use my skills to help people and make a positive impact.

  • Joseph - Graphic Designer

    Recognizing the power of visual communication, I saw an opportunity to use my skills to create impactful designs that could bridge the digital gap and enhance educational access for deprived communities. Motivated by a desire to make a meaningful difference, I joined the BTG team, willing to contribute my expertise towards a more equitable and inclusive future.

  • Jesyma - Operations Manager

    Jesyma oversees the smooth running of BTG’s services, coordinating workshops, volunteers and day-to-day operations. She ensures residents receive timely support and keeps the organisation organised, responsive and community-focused.

  • Radhea - Digital Champion & Admin Support Volunteer

    Radhea supports residents during drop-ins and workshops, helping them build digital confidence step by step. She also assists with admin tasks, ensuring enquiries and community requests are managed efficiently.

  • Dorota - Programme Coordinator Volunteer

    Dorota plays a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of BTG’s workshops and drop-in sessions. She helps prepare the space, supports volunteers, welcomes residents, gathers feedback, and ensures everyone gets the help they need. Her calm coordination helps each session run effectively and creates a supportive environment for both participants and the team.

  • Ntito – Digital Champion Volunteer

    Ntito provides one-to-one digital support to residents, offering patient, practical guidance to help people overcome barriers to using devices, apps and online services with confidence.

  • Edwin – Digital Champion Volunteer / Volunteer Support

    Edwin supports residents during workshops and drop-ins while also helping new volunteers settle into their roles. He plays a key part in creating a welcoming and supportive environment across all BTG hubs.

  • Saqib – Digital Champion & IT Technician Volunteer

    Saqib supports BTG’s IT operations through device repairs, troubleshooting and technical advice. He also volunteers as a Digital Champion, helping residents gain essential digital skills during sessions.

  • Steven – Digital Champion & Fundraising Strategy Support Volunteer

    Steven supports residents as a Digital Champion while also contributing to BTG’s fundraising development. He helps strengthen strategy and identify opportunities that support BTG’s sustainability and long-term growth.

  • Will - Website Manager

    From accessibility upgrades to design overhauls, Will maintains and upgrades the website, making it easier for our community to connect with us and access our latest support.
