We Didn’t Just Restart — We Rebuilt With Purpose

At Bridge the Gap, August marks a moment of reflection.

After a challenging period, we made a conscious decision not just to return - but to return with intention. We took time to reset, refocus, and rebuild how we deliver our services to better meet the needs of our community.

From April 2026, through our partnerships with Hackney Council, the National Lottery, Bootstrap Charity, The CohubHackney, Connecting All Communities, and the Good Things Foundation, we relaunched our digital drop-in sessions across community hubs, including Napier Grove, New Kingshold Community Centre, and Whitmore Community centre.

These partnerships have enabled us to reach more residents and provide meaningful, practical support where it is needed most.

Since restarting, we have been supporting residents with:

  • Learning how to use smartphones, laptops, and tablets

  • Accessing essential online services such as housing, benefits, and NHS support

  • Building confidence in navigating the digital world

  • Staying connected through access to data and devices

At BTG, we don’t just talk about impact — we take action.
